I found this picture of some flapper girls in the city during the 1920s. When I think of the 1920s, I automatically think of the flapper girl. I think this picture really shows what a typical flapper girl looked like. The women all have short bob hair and dresses that do not cover them up completely. They just look like 5 friends hanging out; they do not look like mothers or daughters or wives, just normal women. This picture reminds me of Sex and the City and how there was always a shot of the Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte walking down the street of New York City. Flapper girls are very interesting and iconic people.

I agree with you that this looks like a scene from Sex and the City. I feel like the flapper trend let women express themselves and be able to dress more freely.
